Paddle! Do it! Go for it!

These days, he often sees his former self in the underjoyed and overworked professionals he takes out on the waves. Waiting for the swell, the true emotions come out: “God, I wish I could do what you do.” His reply is always the same: “You can.”

The setting sun reflects off the surface of the water, providing a Zen-like setting for a message he knows is true: It’s not giving up to put your current path on indefinite pause (…).

As they paddle back to the shore after an awesome session, his clients get ahold of themselves and regain their composure. They set foot on shore, and reality sinks its fangs in: “I would, but I can’t really throw it all away.”
He has to laugh.

you can do everything you want.
if you really want it.

Paddle! Do it! Go for it!

Back to reality?

Doch ich hab‘s lieber mit Ernest Hemingway‘s „Traveling helps you to remember who you forgot to be“, oder der Albert Camus‘ „Das Reisen führt uns zu uns zurück.“ Reisen half mir meine Sichtweisen zu verändern.

Do it. Fuck*. Do it!

Mathias underlined the fact that India will change me, for sure.
I, felt pretty sure about not changing myself while traveling across India.
Hmmm…actually: he knew it.

I didn‘t search anything in India. Nonetheless I found so many things: new friends, inspirations, ideas and a kind of identity. Sounds like a DIY-spirituality-thing. Maybe.

Hemingway once quoted: „Traveling helps you to remember who you forgot to be“. It really helped me switching my focus. Rethink how I act and react, thinking outside the box – stop being a Jack-in-the-box. I faced my fears. I discovered my strenghts.
It was hard. It was challenging. India taught me a lot.
Hell, it was beautiful.

People are asking me repeatedly the same questions: „Are you back to reality?“
Which reality? I never escaped my reality.
I‘m alive. I see a lot. I‘ve seen a lot. I will see a lot.
I‘m living my reality.

Whoever wants to discuss the concept of reality because he isn‘t sure about his own should travel or study the works of Descartes, Kant and Popper.
Do it. Fuck*. Do it!
